A program designed to teach basic swimming skills for those children that have little to no swimming experience; the goal of which is to advance and prepare them to compete at meets for the Waterford Waverunners.

Who would be good for the program?
- Swimmers ages 4 and up.
- Swimmers that are potty trained.
- Swimmers that have little to no experience.
- Swimmers who need some time to re-acclimate to skills previously learned.

How long does the program last?
- Practices will be Tuesday and Thursday, from 10:30-11:00am.
- Practices run for the entire season (roughly 6 weeks).

What are the benefits?
- Mini-Waverunners are considered full members of the Waterford Waverunners Swim Team
- Swimmers receive small group, structured instruction to learn basic swim skills.
- Swimmers have the ability to "graduate" from the program at any time, should the coaching staff deem them to have mastered all the necessary skills.

Will the swimmers swim in a meet?
- Only if they have shown to master all the necessary skills and the coaches deem it is safe for them to compete
and practice.

How much will the program cost?
- $135
